Hi. I'm Isa. Welcome to my virtual office and thank you for popping in to say hello.
I'm a marketing professional with over 15 years experience in digital strategy and communications. I specialise in search marketing which includes digital PR, content strategy and influencer marketing.
I've worked for multiple brands and agencies in different roles, particularly within the beauty, food & drink, fashion and retail sectors. After working for startups, SMEs and global brands for over a decade, I'm now a freelance digital strategist. I work with clients to identify the right opportunities for their businesses, particularly within search marketing.

M Y B A C K G R O U N D

It all started 100 years ago when I was promoting artists on MySpace for an independent record label (ok maybe not 100 years ago but if it was when MySpace was around, you know it was a long time ago!!). It was then that I fell in love with digital which back then, was a new way of engaging with audiences and potential customers.

Fast forward a few years and I'm in grad school studying for my MA in International marketing. As great as it was to learn about theory and best practice, it wasn't till I got my first search marketing role that I really got immersed in all things SEO.

When I first started link building over a decade ago, PR was the creme de la creme of link building tactics. If I told you how we used to get backlinks for clients back in the day, you'd fall off your chair with shock so I won't bother. But, it was fair to say that some of the tactics we used weren't the most ethical or interesting or user friendly.

Enter the era of Digital PR. Those were the days eh..When the likes of The Daily Mail and The Guardian gave out followed links like Oprah on her giveaway shows. Where you could place the same feature article on multiple publications and .. get this... where influencers (known back in the day as bloggers) would rock up to an event and write a 500 word review with followed links for a free dress or gift voucher. I know.. who would have thought.

It's no surprise that things have moved on from over a decade ago, and digital PR is more complex. Securing earned media coverage has never been more difficult.The key skillsets however, remains the same. Telling impactful stories from a point of view that resonates with the media and its audiences. That's where I come in.

I'm a qualified Reiki Seichem 1&2 and crystal healing practitioner
I'm a GOT girl but as many others, I was hugely disappointed in the last two seasons
I love to sing and write songs as a hobby. I'm currently in an acoustic band doing various gigs and open mic nights
If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd travel, travel and travel some more
